Just in time for your spring picnics, here are some gorgeous floral deviled eggs.
I stand by the belief that every party is dramatically better with deviled eggs. Here is my go-to Best Deviled Eggs Recipe that never misses, along with a tutorial so you, too, can decorate your own floral deviled egg arrangement.
Added Bonus: I’m typically only focused on making deviled eggs for the creativity involved, however, this is also a great low-carb/keto-friendly appetizer option.
Ingredients (quantities are measured by your heart):
- Eggs
- Mayo
- Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
- Dijon Mustard (I like a horseradish dijon to add an extra kick)
- Dill (dried or fresh – cleaned and chopped)
- Garnish of your choice (I like fresh dill sprigs, edible flowers like pansies and violas, or a piece of crispy bacon or salami)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to boil and then carefully lower the eggs into the water. Bring back to a boil and cook for another 8-10 mins.
2. Remove from heat and transfer eggs into a bowl of ice water.
3. Carefully peel and rinse the eggs.
4. Cut each egg in half, wiping the knife clean between each egg.
5. Remove the yolks and place them in a large bowl. Using a fork, smash the yolks until no large clumps remain.
6. Slowly add mayo and whip into the yolk mixture – add enough mayo until it is smooth and creamy, but not runny. Then add Dijon mustard, Frank’s Red Hot sauce, and dill (fresh if you have it, but dried also works nicely) to taste. I usually add enough Frank’s that I don’t need salt. If you like it with less Frank’s, you may want to add a dash of salt.
7. Dump mixture into a large ziplock or piping bag and cut a small hole in one corner. With all whites neatly arranged on a platter, gently pipe a generous swirl into each white. Decorate with a sprig of fresh dill or a sprinkle of paprika.

Floral Deviled Eggs:
If you want to get fancy, you can make these floral deviled eggs with edible flowers and a tulip cut. Or, you can make the spooky versions that we have on our Halloween Hosting post.
Pro Tip: If you are traveling to a party location with these, wait to pipe the filling until you get there. Just bring the baggie of filling with you, and it will take less than a minute to pipe. If you try to travel with pre-filled deviled eggs, they will 100% fly all over the place and be a mess on arrival.
